About Me
I am originally from Cork, Ireland. I moved to the States in 2015 to be a student-athlete at McNeese State University. While there I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, competed as an NCAA D1 All-American, and found my passion for pursuing research—which brought me to The University of Arizona, Tucson to begin my PhD.

Why did you choose the Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program at the University of Arizona?
I chose The University of Arizona Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program (NSGP) because of its stellar reputation in graduates, diverse department faculty and students, and the aligning research interests. During my visit, everyone in the NSGP made me feel like I was exactly where I needed to be to pursue the best personal and professional future for myself.
